One of your ancestors devoured Yamata no Orochi, the Eight Headed Serpent, creating a hereditary technique with its power.
Cursed Energy
Starting at 1st level, you can harness your negative feelings into a usable source of energy, called cursed energy. These feelings can be harnessed into attacks or abilities. The number of cursed energy you possess is based on your class, some classes use a modifier that being charisma or wisdom (Player’s choice)
Your cursed energy DC is 8 + user cursed energy ability modifier + proficiency bonus.
Eight Lives
Starting at 1st level, you have the ability to come back to life after you die, up to 8 times. When you are reduced to 0 hit points or die outright, you can spend 1 CE to come back to life at half your hitpoint maximum and harmful conditions other than exhaustion are removed. You have 8 lives and can use a life this way three times per long rest. This increases to four at 3rd level and eight at 6th level. You regain one expended life after eight days.
Collective Will
At 3rd level, when you make an Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma ability check or saving throw, you can spend 1 cursed energy to reroll and must use the new roll. You can use this feature up to 8 times per long rest.
Fangs of Orochi
At 6th level, as an action you can spend up to 8 cursed energy to summon an equal number of fangs from the jaws of Yamata no Orochi as shikigami. They appear in unoccupied spaces of your choice within 10 feet of you.
You can command any Fangs you have summoned as a bonus action. These Fangs disappear if you become unconscious. The Fangs hit points increase to 20 at 11th level.
Maximum: Sacrifice
At 11th level, when you have at least 3 Fangs of Orochi summoned, you can command them as an action for 6 cursed energy to move up to 40 ft, encircle a creature, and embed themselves into the ground in an unoccupied area. A barrier forms, connecting the Fangs like a cylinder resembling a trigram and trapping any within.
The barrier has a height of 20 ft and can have a maximum diameter of 15 ft. It has an AC of 20 and its hit points equals hit points of all Fangs of Orochi used to create it. A trapped creature must make a cursed energy save at the start of their turns, taking 10d4 necrotic damage on a failed save or half as much on a successful save.
If this damage reduces a humanoid to 0 hit points, the creature dies and you regain one life. Once you regain a life in this way, you cannot regain a life in this way for 1 week.
Domain Expansion: Ama ga Fuchi
Finally at 18th level, you have constructed a domain filled with your technique. The domain takes the form of grassy wetlands. At initiative 20, Yamata no Orochi forms from the earth. The shikigami does not take actions and does not have a turn in initiative. This is a false incarnation that only exists within your domain, containing the shackled mind of the original Yamata no Orochi.
On initiative 20 after Yamata no Orochi has formed, roll a 1d8. That number of creatures of your choice within the domain each suffer its bite. The shikigami disappears when your domain ends.
Reversal

Reverse Scale
You have mastered reverse cursed technique and learned the reversal of your technique. Life is precious. Unlike you, most people do not get do-overs. As an action for 10 CE, you target a creature within 60 ft and reinforce their mortality. Until they complete a long rest, they are unable to regain hit points, automatically fail death saves, and take additional necrotic damage equal to your CE modifier whenever they take necrotic damage.
Offering. At 11th level, when you would use Maximum: Sacrifice, you can instead spend 12 cursed energy. A creature of your choice within the barrier instead regains 10d4 hit points at the start of their turn.
