Mindset

Mindset

In sorcery, your mindset affects your power. These are represented as an alternative to the inspiration system.

Honored One

Amongst the heavens and earth, you are the honored one. Your needs are all that matter. If you use your inspiration, you can choose to maximize the damage of one attack.

Cog

In the greater schemes of sorcery, you are a part of the greater whole. If you use your inspiration, you cure all conditions and injuries and heal ¼ of your health.

Professional

This is a job, like all others: you clock in, clock out. If you use your inspiration, you can choose to gain the effects of haste for 1 minute as the deadline approaches.

Vengeful

There are two reasons for your actions, spite and hatred. If you use your inspiration, you pick one creature, and that creature becomes vulnerable to your attacks for 5 rounds.

Rush

Getting lost in your passion and the rush of success, this is what you live for. If you use your inspiration, for the next minute every attack landed gives you a +1 to hit and damage.

Just

Rightfulness is your modus operandi. If you use your inspiration, you deem up to 5 creatures villains. When attacking them, you and your allies gain advantage on attack rolls and can stay at 1 health for up to three rounds as you refuse to fall before the villain.

Exceptional

The bells of Gion Shōja echo the impermanence of all things. The color of the sala flowers reveals that the prosperous must decline. However, we are the exception. If you use your inspiration, you can choose a creature as a fellow exception to share hit points with you in a unified pool.

Limit Breaker

If you are going down, it won’t be without a fight. If you use your inspiration, you regain ½ your cursed energy.

Free

The hatred, the anger, the jealousy, the envy, the bonds that chain you down. You have decided to leave those all behind with your overwhelming intensity. If you use your inspiration, you may have an extra action or reaction at that time.
