Cursed Vessel

Cursed Vessel

Sorcerers who became cursed objects and are now in a new body

Age. Your lifespan is the remainder of the body you have possessed.

Alignment. Cursed vessels are almost always chaotic people, not caring about what happens to others around them and wanting to cause destruction.

Size. Your size is the same as the race you have possessed.
Speed. Your base walking speed is the same as the race you have possessed.

New Body Functions. You gain all features and traits from the race you have possessed.

This Body Is Mine. You gain advantage against effects that would alter your form.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.

Subrace. There are multiple forms of vessels; however, they are all based on consuming cursed objects. There are the reincarnated, who were simply sorcerers who were consumed by creatures that were adapted for their incarnation. There are the Death Paintings, which take over the body of said vessel despite its host having a will. Then there are the incomplete and complete vessels. If the cursed object’s host still has a will, it starts as an incomplete vessel and then becomes a complete vessel after erasing the will of the old body owner.

Reincarnated
You are a sorcerer from a past era. Now you are in your second life through some deal.

Ability Score Increase. You have been brought back to your peak. You can choose one ability score to increase by 2 and your other ability scores to increase by 1.

Life Experience. This isn’t your first shot at life, and last time you learned a few things. You gain proficiency in two skills or one skill and one tool of your choice.

Cling on to Life. You have died once and will make sure that it won’t happen again. Whenever you are reduced to 0 hit points, you may choose to be reduced to 1 hit point instead. You may only do this once per long rest.

Death Painting
A disastrous mixture of curse and man, made by an evil scientist and stuck as a fetus until fed to a host.

Ability Score Increase. Your cursed object has overcome the body of your initial host, so instead of gaining the host’s ability scores, you’ll receive a +3 in your Charisma score. This cannot go above 20.

Durable Body. Once you incarnate into a vessel, due to your unnatural properties, the body becomes more durable. Your maximum hit points increase by 2 and increase by 2 again every time you gain a level.

Poisonous Blood. Your birth came from someone from the Kamo clan, and due to experiments performed on that person, your blood became poisonous. When a creature within 5 feet of you deals piercing or slashing damage to you, you can use your reaction to force some of your poisonous blood into contact with it. The creature takes poison damage equal to your proficiency bonus. If the blood enters its body, the creature is poisoned for 1 minute. At the start of each of its turns, the creature can make a Constitution saving throw against your Cursed Energy DC, ending the poisoned condition on a success.
