You were born with a simple ability many called weak: the ability to control and see through crows.
Cursed Energy
Starting at 1st level, you can harness your negative feelings into a usable source of energy, called Cursed Energy. These feelings can be harnessed into attacks or abilities. The amount of Cursed Energy you possess is based on your class. Some classes use a modifier, either Charisma or Wisdom (player’s choice).
Your Cursed Energy DC is 8 + your Cursed Energy ability modifier + proficiency bonus.
You regain all spent Cursed Energy on a long rest.
Cursed Crows
At 1st level, you have learned how to imbue crows with Cursed Energy to use them as part of your technique. As an action for 1 Cursed Energy, you can imbue a raven with Cursed Energy if it’s restrained, grappled, or incapacitated. It then becomes one of your cursed ravens. It is charmed by you and will follow your orders no matter what. As an action, you can close your eyes, giving yourself the blinded condition unless you have blindsight, in exchange for being able to see through one of your crows. While seeing through your crows, you can use your passive perception instead of the crow’s. You can only see through one crow at a time and may switch between them as an action or stop seeing through them as a bonus action. You start with 3 cursed crows.
Omen of Death
When you reach 3rd level, you are constantly followed by an omen of death, giving you an aura of terror. As a bonus action, you force each creature of your choice that you can see within 30 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, a creature becomes frightened of you for 1 minute. The frightened creature can repeat this saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Raven’s Eye
Starting at 6th level, your crows have been enhancing your sight. You gain +1 to your passive perception for every crow you currently have. In addition, you can switch between crows as a bonus action and may stop seeing through them at will.
Bird Strike
Beginning at 11th level, your mastery of the Black Bird Manipulation has made you develop its most powerful technique. As an action for 10 Cursed Energy, you can order one of your crows to launch itself at a creature within range of its flying speed. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a success, it takes half damage and doesn’t have a limb damaged. On a failure, however, it takes 10d10 force damage and has one of its limbs damaged. Roll a d6 to see the damaged limb.
Domain Expansion: Black Mahakala
If you reach 18th level, you gain your domain expansion. While inside it, at Initiative 20, you may choose up to three targets to suffer the full effects of Bird Strike.
