Cursed Energy
Starting at 1st level, you can harness your negative feelings into a usable source of energy, called cursed energy. These feelings can be harnessed into attacks or abilities. The number of cursed energy you possess is based on your class, some classes use a modifier that being charisma or wisdom (Player’s choice)
Your cursed energy DC is 8 + user cursed energy ability modifier + proficiency bonus.
New Shadow Style: Simple Domain
Beginning at 1st level, you gain the Simple Domain feat with the following benefits:
- You can activate Simple Domain for free a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus each long rest
- You can activate Simple Domain as a bonus action
- The area of Simple Domain can be up to 15 feet instead of 10
Batto Sword Draw
At 3rd level, you have learned the fastest technique of the New Shadow Style. As an action for 3 CE while wielding a melee weapon, you can make one attack roll with advantage against a number of targets equal to your proficiency bonus within half of your movement speed and reach. You end your turn behind the farthest target without provoking opportunity attacks.
Evening Moon Sword Drawing
Once you reach 6th level, you enter a crouched stance. When a creature willingly moves in or out of your Simple Domain you can make a weapon attack against them. On a hit, you can choose to either spend CE up to your cursed energy modifier to deal an additional damage die for each CE spent, or you can gain a bonus to your AC and saving throws equal to the CE spent until the beginning of your next turn. You can only make this attack once per round per creature, meaning you can use it once against each creature.
Moonlight Veil
Starting at 11th level, you can spend 1 cursed energy as a bonus action to imbue your weapon with your simple domain for 1 minute. You can add your Cursed Energy modifier to attack and damage rolls of melee weapon attacks or unarmed strikes. When you use this technique, you ignore any penalties for using a broken weapon.
Perfect Shadow Style
Finally, at 18th level, you manage to reach the peak of New Shadow Style. Your Simple Domain gains the following benefits:
- Simple Domain costs no cursed energy.
- You can freely move and maintain Simple Domain.
- The range of any of New Shadow Style techniques can be increased to up to 60 feet as a bonus action until the end of your turn
When you expand the range of your Simple Domain over a creature, you can make two weapon attacks against a single creature as a free action (regardless of range). You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus each long rest.
