Cursed Energy
Starting at 1st level, you can harness your negative feelings into a usable source of energy called cursed energy. These feelings can be harnessed into attacks or abilities. The amount of cursed energy you possess is based on your class. Some classes use either Charisma or Wisdom as the modifier (the player’s choice).
Your Cursed Energy DC is 8 + your Cursed Energy modifier + your proficiency bonus.
True New Shadow Style: Simple Domain
Beginning at 1st level, you gain the New Shadow Style: Simple Domain feat with the following benefits:
- You can activate New Shadow Style: Simple Domain at no cost a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus
- You can activate it as a reaction at no extra cost
- You can activate this as a bonus action
- The area of effect is a 20-foot radius instead of 15 feet
Batto Sword Draw
At 3rd level, for 3 Cursed Energy, you have learned the fastest technique of the New Shadow Style. As an action while wielding a melee weapon, you can make one attack roll with advantage against a number of targets equal to the Dexterity modifier of your choice within half of your movement speed and reach. In addition, you end your turn behind the farthest target out of them all. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.
Evening Moon Sword Drawing
Once you reach 6th level, you enter a crouched stance. When a creature enters the area of your New Shadow Style: Simple Domain, you make a weapon attack against this creature or creatures. On a hit, you deal critical damage plus an additional amount of weapon dice equal to the Cursed Energy you choose to use for Evening Moon Sword Drawing, or you can choose to gain a +5 bonus to your AC and saving throws against Cursed Energy attacks.
New Shadow Style: Moonlight Veil
Starting at 11th level, you can use a bonus action to imbue your weapon with your simple domain. You can add your Cursed Energy modifier to attack and damage rolls for strikes using that weapon. Weapons include unarmed strikes, and this can be used to replace a broken weapon.
Perfect Shadow Style
Finally, at 18th level, you manage to reach the peak of New Shadow Style. Your New Shadow Style: Simple Domain gains the following benefits:
- New Shadow Style: Simple Domain can be used for free
- You can freely move and maintain New Shadow Style: Simple Domain
- The range of any of your New Shadow Style techniques can be increased by 60 feet as a bonus action
