Regalia

特技 Feats for this technique → Regalia

Your very soul has become a cursed tool that has been sealed within. You have the ability to manifest it using cursed energy.

Cursed Energy
Starting at 1st level, you can harness your negative feelings into a usable source of energy, called cursed energy. These feelings can be harnessed into attacks or abilities. The number of cursed energy you possess is based on your class, some classes use a modifier that being charisma or wisdom (Player’s choice)

Your cursed energy DC is 8 + user cursed energy ability modifier + proficiency bonus.

Regalia
Starting at 1st level, you can manifest your Regalia as an action for 2 CE for a number of hours equal to your Cursed Energy modifier. Your Regalia takes the form of a simple or martial melee weapon of your choice, such as Dagger or a Shortsword. You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls using your Regalia. Once per turn on a hit you can spend 1 CE to deal an additional 1d8 necrotic damage. This becomes 2d8 at 3rd level, 3d8 at 6th level, 4d8 at 11th level and 6d8 at 18th level.

Your Regalia disappears if it is more than 30 feet away from you and cannot be wielded by other creatures.

Cursed Wave
At 3rd level, you have learned greater control over your Regalia. For 1 CE, you can make one of your attacks with your Regalia into a cutting wave of cursed energy. This creates a 5 ft wide 30 ft long line. Creatures in range must make a Dexterity save, taking the damage of your regalia in necrotic damage on a failed save.

Divine Protection
At 6th level, the seal further loosens, granting you more abilities.

Your Regalia now has a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls. This increases to a +3 bonus at 11th level and +4 at 18th level.

Your Regalia now has a pool of hit points equal to 5 times your level. When you take damage, you can spend 1 cursed energy as a reaction to damage to cause that damage to instead target the regalia’s pool.

If this hit point pool is reduced to 0 hit points, you take any remaining damage and your regalia breaks and must be resummoned. When broken, your regalia can be resummoned a number of times equal to your Cursed Energy modifier. Otherwise, you cannot summon your regalia until you complete a long rest.

Soul Bound Treasure
At 11th level, your control over your Soul Regalia has loosened nearly all of the seal. Your regalia is now a special grade cursed tool. Work with your GM to decide what its technique is.

As an action, you can spend 10 cursed energy to cause your regalia to hover for 1 minute. Your regalia has an AC equal to 12 + your cursed energy modifier + your proficiency bonus and hit points equal to its pool while hovering. The regalia is destroyed if reduced to 0 hit points. You gain the following actions:

  • As an action you can command the weapon to move up to 100 feet and can make any attacks on your turn originate from the Regalia as if you were wielding it. You can use your cursed energy modifier for attack and damage rolls for these attacks.
  • As an action, you can cause your regalia to move in a 100 foot line attack, appearing at the end of the line if it is a melee weapon. All creatures within range must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking your regalia damage on a hit.

After the minute is up, the Soul Regalia moves 100 ft towards you, attempting to return. If unable to, it falls to the ground.

Domain Expansion: Cursed Soul Armory
At 18th level, the seal is completely removed as you have perfected a domain expansion that you put your soul into. The domain is filled with numerous types of Lesser Regalia. At initiative 20, the Lesser Regalia will attack any enemies within the domain, dealing 8d10 necrotic damage. Additionally, you can use Soul Bound Treasure as an action without spending any cursed energy. In your domain it has immunity to all damage and you can use one of its actions once per turn as a free action.

Reversal

反転 How to gain this: Cursed Technique Reversal →

Riches to Rags
Due to mastering Reverse Cursed Technique, you have learned your cursed technique reversal. Instead of releasing the seal on your soul’s cursed tool, you can instead seal the cursed tools of others. Once per turn, when you hit a creature wielding or using a cursed tool, you can spend 4 CE to force them to make a Cursed Energy save against your DC. On a failure, a cursed tool of your choice that the target is wielding or wearing becomes non-functional. The target gains a +2 bonus to the save for every rarity above 4th Grade the targeted cursed tool is. They lose any benefits of the cursed tool and their attunement breaks if they are attuned. The cursed tool reverts to a non-functional Grade 4 cursed object and cannot be attuned to for 1 hour. After the hour has passed, the item returns to normal and can be attuned to.
