Toji shouldn’t be a threat to anyone who can use cursed energy. That’s exactly why he is one: Heavenly Restriction left him with none of his own to sense, target, or be found by, and he spent every year since turning that blind spot into a career. Sorcerers who never see him coming are the ones who don’t walk away.

Traits
Heavenly Restriction. Toji has no cursed energy of his own. He can’t be perceived, targeted, or harmed by any cursed technique, and is unaffected by a Domain Expansion’s sure-hit effect while inside one - though a domain can still trap him physically. He also cannot be affected by spells or effects that specifically require a target to have cursed energy.
Uncanny Reflexes. Toji has advantage on initiative rolls and can’t be surprised.
Chain of a Thousand Miles. As a free action, Toji can attach this chain to one weapon he’s wielding, extending its reach by up to 30 feet until he detaches it (also a free action). An attack made at more than 5 feet of reach this way deals half damage.
Actions
Multiattack. Toji makes three attacks with the Inverted Spear of Heaven or Playful Cloud, in any combination.
Inverted Spear of Heaven. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d6 + 8) piercing damage. If the target is under the effect of a cursed technique, Domain Expansion, spell, or other magical effect, that effect ends immediately on a hit.
Playful Cloud. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft. (three-section staff), one target. Hit: 18 (2d8 + 9) bludgeoning damage.
Reactions
Instant Reversal. When a creature Toji can see makes an attack roll or forces a saving throw against him, he can use his reaction to make one weapon attack against that creature first, resolving before the triggering effect.
