The tenth shadow, and the one every Zenin heir prays they never have to call. Mahoraga costs more cursed energy to summon than most sorcerers ever have and can shrug off a technique it has already seen once. Use it as an unstoppable, campaign-ending set piece rather than a recurring threat.

Traits
Cursed Manifestation. Only creatures that can sense cursed energy can perceive or harm Mahoraga. It is exorcised when reduced to 0 hit points, and cannot be summoned again for the rest of the day.
Bound Servant. Mahoraga cannot act on its own initiative. Its sorcerer uses a bonus action to command it to take an action. Its sorcerer cannot create a shikigami clone of it.
Wheel of Adaptation. The first time in a fight that Mahoraga is affected by a specific spell, cursed technique, or damage type, note it. At the end of that turn, and again after every subsequent turn it spends fighting the same effect, Mahoraga adapts: it gains resistance to that damage type or a +2 bonus to saves against that effect, stacking each time (to a maximum of immunity, or advantage and automatic success respectively). Adaptation is lost when Mahoraga is exorcised.
Actions
Multiattack. Mahoraga makes two attacks with its halberd.
Cursed Halberd. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 30 (4d10 + 9) slashing damage plus 18 (4d8) force damage.
Divine Havoc (Recharge 5-6). Mahoraga slams the ground with the butt of its halberd. Each creature within 30 feet must make a DC 19 Strength saving throw, taking 44 (8d10) thunder damage and being knocked prone on a failure, or taking half damage on a success.
Reactions
Adaptive Guard. When Mahoraga is hit by an attack, technique, or effect it has already adapted to (see Wheel of Adaptation), it can use its reaction to halve the damage or automatically succeed on the associated saving throw.
